Budd Bronski was a retired U.S. Marine who replaced Lowell Mather as the resident airport field mechanic servicing Sandpiper and Aeromass. He was played by comedic actor Brian Haley.

Bio[]

Not much is known about Budd Bronski, but he is possibly a native of Nantucket. While he was in the Marines, he had caused an incident that led to a plane going down and wiping out an entire town. He was cleared by a board of inquiry but still wonders whether he tightened a bolt or not. Brian had hired him over the phone without consulting Joe or Roy, angering them, but they were relieved to learn he would work for the same salary as Lowell did (So Long, Frank Lloyd Wrong).

When Brian was depressed and overeating, he recruited Budd to deliver food to him at work (When a Man Loves a Donut). Budd was invited to Helen's Christmas party, but was very nervous about attending. While at the party he unsuccessfully tried to make small talk and later had to give himself a pep talk in the mirror in Joe's bedroom ('Twas the Heist Before Christmas). Budd was invited to Fay and Lyle's wedding, but Lyle asked him to leave after making some lewd comments (Bye, George).

On Valentine's Day 1996, Antonio and Budd went to Lexington's to get dinner together.
